Week 3 of the NFL season was by far one of the most bizarre weeks we’ve seen so far. With the season getting into the mid season, the games continue to matter more and more. Before we preview and predict each game, let’s take a look at last week’s stats.
Week 3: 12-4 ; Avg Points Off per Team: 9.7
Overall: 34-14 ; Avg Points Off per Team: 9.07
3 Closest Perfect Games of Week 3:

Closest Game So Far : (Prediction) LAR 26 PHI 34 ; LAR 26 PHI 33 (Score)
(-1.5) Seahawks (2-1) @ Cardinals (2-1) - Thursday Sept. 25th 8:15 PM ET | Prime Video
The Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals will meet on Thursday Night Football. Both teams enter this matchup 2-1, as the NFC West has teams that are all above .500. The Cardinals will be wearing their all-new “rivalries” uniforms for this game, as the end zones will also be painted sandy brown. I expect a good game, and Sam Darnold to show off his arm in this one.

(-2.5) Vikings (2-1) @ Steelers (2-1) - Sunday Sept. 28th 9:30 AM ET | NFL NET/NFL+
The second international NFL game of 2025 will take place in Dublin, Ireland, when the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Minnesota Vikings. Vikings thrash the Bengals last weekend, defeating them 48-10. The Steelers also picked up a victory, as they defeated the New England Patriots by seven points. I expect a highly competitive game, as both teams should put on a show for the Irish fans.

(-6.5) Chargers (3-0) @ Giants (0-3) - Sunday Sept. 28th 1:00 PM ET | CBS
The Los Angeles Chargers will head to MetLife Stadium to take on the winless New York Giants. Los Angeles quarterback Justin Herbert has finally taken the next step, as the Chargers look like a top team in the NFL so far. As for New York, Jaxon Dart will be taking over the starting role. Dart has played in some small packages during the games, but will permanently be taking over duties in place of Russell Wilson.

(+7.5) Titans (0-3) @ Texans (0-3) - Sunday Sept. 28th 1:00 PM ET | CBS
The battle of the two winless teams will take place this week in Houston, as Cam Ward's Tennessee Titans take on the CJ Stroud led Texans. The Titans did not play well last week, as they fell by 21 points to Daniel Jones and the Colts. It wasn’t much better for Houston however, as they lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars 17-10.
Score Prediction

(+1.5) Commanders (2-1) @ Falcons (1-2) - Sunday Sept. 28th 1:00 PM ET | CBS
The Washington Commanders and Atlanta Falcons will meet this weekend, as the Commanders will still be without their starting quarterback, Jaden Daniels. Marcus Mariota will remain the starting quarterback, as he will go up against Michael Penix Jr. and the rest of the Falcons offense. I expect a low scoring defense battle on this one, but I think Mariota will pull one out to get the victory.

(+14.5) Saints (0-3) @ Bills (3-0) - Sunday Sept. 28th 1:00 PM ET | CBS
Potentially the most lopsided game of the week will take place in Buffalo, when the New Orleans Saints take on the Buffalo Bills. I think Josh Allen may throw for 300+ passing yards, and the Buffalo defense should be able to shut down Spencer Rattler. The Bills look like one of the top teams in the NFL, and I do not expect that to stop this week.
Score Prediction
NO 6 BUF 44
(-3.5) Eagles (3-0) @ Buccaneers (3-0) - Sunday Sept. 28th 1:00 PM ET | FOX
The Philadelphia Eagles look to spoil another team's unbeaten season, as they take on Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Eagles were able to win last weekend thanks to a game-winning blocked field goal return for a touchdown by Jordan Davis. The Buccaneers are missing top receiver Mike Evans, but rookie Emeka Egbuka looks to be a superstar so far.
Score Prediction

(+9.5) Browns (1-2) @ Lions (2-1) - Sunday Sept. 28th 1:00 PM ET | FOX
The Cleveland Browns look to upset NFC North teams for back-to-back weeks back, as they had to Ford Field to take down the Detroit Lions. I expect an extremely low scoring game, as the Browns were able to hold the Packers to 10 points. I do still expect Detroit to get the win, but I think Cleveland will make them earn it in this one.

(-5.5) Patriots (1-2) @ Panthers (1-2) - Sunday Sept. 28th 1:00 PM ET | FOX
Drake Maye will lead the New England Patriots into Carolina, where Bryce Young and the Panthers will be waiting for them. The Panthers were able to pick up their first victory of the season, defeating the Atlanta Falcons 30-0. As for the Patriots, they were unable to get the victory against Pittsburgh last weekend.

(+3.5) Jaguars (2-1) @ 49ers (3-0) - Sunday Sept. 28th 4:05 PM ET | FOX
The late window will kick off in San Francisco, when the 49ers play host to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Niners are getting back their quarterback, Brock Purdy, as he was banged up with an injury these past few weeks. The Jaguars were able to pick up another victory last week, as they have been a sneakily impressive team up to this point.

(+3.5) Colts (3-0) @ Rams (2-1) - Sunday Sept. 28th 4:05 PM ET | FOX
The Indianapolis Colts and Los Angeles Rams will meet this weekend on FOX. Colts quarterback, Daniel Jones is looking to prove that he is a viable starter of his tallest task, yet against the stout Rams defense. The Rams lost last week due to a blocked field goal that ended up getting returned for a touchdown in the final seconds.

(-2.5) Ravens (1-2) @ Chiefs (1-2) - Sunday Sept. 28th 4:25 PM ET | CBS
Either the Baltimore Ravens or Kansas City Chiefs will start the season 1-3. The Chiefs were able to pick up their first victory on Sunday Night, when they defeated the New York Giants. As for the Ravens, they were defeated by the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football 38-30. I expect a very tight game, but I think Baltimore will pull away towards the end of it.

(+1.5) Bears (1-2) @ Raiders (1-2) - Sunday Sept. 28th 4:25 PM ET | CBS
The Chicago Bears will look to keep on their good momentum, after taking down the Dallas Cowboys last weekend. As for the Las Vegas Raiders, they have lost their last two matchups. The Raiders look to get rookie running back Ashton Jeanty going, they have yet to see him reach his full potential.

(-6.5) Packers (2-1) @ Cowboys (1-2) - Sunday Sept. 28th 8:20 PM ET | NBC
The Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys will meet in what will be a reunion for star defensive player Micah Parsons. Cowboys GM, Jerry Jones stated that the Cowboys will not be playing a tribute video for Parsons, which stirred up a lot of talk inside the media. I expect him to take down Dak Prescott, at least once, and the Packers to walk away with the victory.

(+2.5) Jets (0-3) @ Dolphins (0-3) - Monday Sept. 29th 7:15 PM ET | ESPN
The New York Jets and Miami Dolphins will take on each other, as they both are looking for their first win of the season. The Miami Dolphins lost to the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football, but they are coming off 11 days of rest. As for New York, they will get their quarterback Justin Fields back after he just cleared concussion protocol.
Score Prediction

(+8.5) Bengals (2-1) @ Broncos (1-2) - Monday Sept. 29th 8:15 PM ET | ABC
The final game of the Monday Night Football doubleheader is the Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos. Despite having a better record, the Bengals are 8.5 point underdogs. They lost the Minnesota Vikings by 38 points last weekend, and I don’t expect them to do much better this week.
